Tuan G. Bui, MD, DMD, FACS
Dr. Bui received his BS from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He obtained his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. Subsequently, he returned to McGill University to obtain his dental degree. He completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard University program in Boston, MA. After his residency, Dr. Bui was in private practice in Manhattan, NY for a few years before moving to Portland, OR, where he completed a two-year fellowship in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and Microvascular Reconstruction at Head and Neck Surgical Associates.
Dr. Bui has published several articles in national and international peer-reviewed journals. He has also given numerous lectures and presentations at local and national meetings. Dr. Bui is board-certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is a fellow member in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, American Academy of Craniomaxillofacial Surgeons, and American Head and Neck Society. He is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Bui’s professional interests include oral cancer, benign and malignant pathology, craniomaxillofacial trauma and reconstruction, bone grafting, teeth extractions, dental implants, and jaw surgery.
