Michael R. Knoll, DDS, MD
Dr. Knoll is a graduate of the University of California where he received both a BS and MS in Biology in 1993 and 1997, respectively. He went onto graduate from Loma Linda University School of Dentistry in 2001. Upon graduating he began residency in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at the University of Alabama, Birmingham. While there he also received his MD (2004) and General Surgery training from the University of Alabama School of Medicine.
Dr. Knoll practiced in both Florida and Alabama, before moving back to California. While in California he was owner of California Oral and Facial Surgery and faculty at the University of Pacific School of Dentistry. He was also an anesthesia examiner for the California Board of Dentistry. He is licensed in dentistry and medicine in North Dakota, Alabama, and California. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
In 2019, Dr. Knoll returned to his family roots in central North Dakota to join Face and Jaw Surgery Center. He has considerable experience in dentoalveolar surgery, implant surgery, bone grafting/reconstruction, oral pathology, and facial trauma.
