Dr. Derek Miller
Dr. Miller was born and raised in Bismarck, ND and attended North Dakota State University for his undergraduate education. He graduated with a degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2013 and went on to attend the Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry where he graduated with his dental degree in 2017. Following this, Dr. Miller pursued specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Minnesota and completed residency training in 2021.
Dr. Miller is excited to return home to North Dakota and join Face and Jaw Surgery Center. He practices the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has special interest in outpatient anesthesia, dentoalveolar and dental implant surgery, bone grafting, facial trauma and reconstruction, pathology, and orthognathic surgery.
In his free time, Dr. Miller enjoys having fun with his wife and three children in addition to many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time on the Missouri River or at Lake Sakakawea. He is honored to be returning to his home state and is passionate about providing high level of care for all patients.
