Office staff from reception and the surgical team were really great and friendly especially the blond girl that got me prepped. Oh God bless her soul. She gave me so much courage strength with her words when I was in pain after the surgery. Dr. Gomez was good at first but he seem to be in a hurry to attend to something else, that made me feel some mistakes would have been sorted out earlier. I was injected in the wrong side of tooth than the one I came to take out. I tried to explain that his about to inject in the wrong tooth but he was in a hurry to just inject and go out. I wasn’t listened to. There was mixed up from primary hospital, if he had taken his time to ask more question and more attentive to me than rushing out. Mistake would have been avoided. After everything sorted out, having to deal with injected on the wrong side of the mouth and on the right one. He did a great job on the surgery but left without any apologies ( maybe he feels it wasn’t his fault). Will be nice to still ask your patients more questions and be sure is the same tooth as what was received from the primary hospital. And listen to the body language of your patience. The nurse had to follow him back to his office to let him know he injected on the wrong side before he came back to actually listened to me and asked the right questions.

I was not a patient at Face and Jaw Surgery but I needed an oral surgeon. The staff fit me into their schedule so that I could have a needed medical procedure. I know it was not easy to fit me in but they did. I was more than impressed with Dr. Gray and would 100% recommend him.
